Upgrade the braking performance of your Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8 w/Z07 CCM Use Iron R Pad Shape with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A1-320.
These Girodisc 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the front carbon ceramic rotors and work with the factory calipers using a different pad shape, commonly known as D1405—the same pad shape as a Z06 without the Z07 package. Please contact us if you need assistance finding compatible pads.
The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. The 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The 2-piece design allows the hat to be reused with new rings (part number D1-320) when replacement is needed.
All major components—including hats, rotor rings, and drive pins—are manufactured in-house at our Bellingham, WA facility using domestically sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. Drive pins are made from high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. Rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers for race-ready float while remaining street-friendly with no noise from loose hardware.
We recommend replacing the rings at a minimum thickness of 34mm, or sooner if a crack extends to the edge of the ring.
