The BORLA® R&D Team has developed an awesome-sounding exhaust for the 1.6L K5. This 2.25″ diameter Cat-Back™ system is specifically tuned for the 1.6L engine. The classic S-Type sound delivers a sportier tone than stock; refined, aggressive, and never obnoxious. Plus, you’ll enjoy a drone-free driving experience for comfort during cruising speeds.
The muffler features BORLA®’s Polyphonic Exhaust Harmonizer technology, which utilizes patented units containing pipes of varying diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize into a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. This system also includes a flow plate to prevent check engine lights that may occur due to the increase in airflow. It features a 2.25″ turndown exit.
